Catching Up With CAT: Turkey Trot 2025

Catching up with CAT during the Turkey Trot tabling was a really solid experience. Even though it wasn’t an event, over 300 people came through just to pick up their shirts for registration, and it was interesting to see that flow of the community. I helped pass out shirts and table, and I got to talk with some of the volunteers and hear their stories, which made the time feel more meaningful. It was also cool to learn about the planning that goes into organizing a Turkey Run, even for something as simple as shirt pick-ups ,it gave me a better understanding of how much coordination happens behind the scenes.
