Catching Up With CAT: Behind the Scenes with Tia

Hello, everyone! This is Tia bringing you this week's Catching Up With CAT.

As the development coordinator, my week looks a bit different from what most of you experience during our core programs. Contrary to popular belief, fundraising is much more than just asking for money. For me, that's often the easiest part. The challenge lies in establishing a strong foundation and managing logistics. From improving donor retention to staying engaged with our longtime supporters who contribute both financially and with their time, it's crucial to keep those connections alive.

This past week, I focused on an upcoming fundraiser and strategized ways to boost our monthly donors while setting personal fundraising goals. As many of you know, summer is our busiest and costliest season. Thus, to be proactive, we've decided to organize a fundraiser, so stay tuned for more details!

While my week may not be filled with the joy and excitement of our programming, I want you to know that what happens behind the scenes is just as vital. I enjoy ensuring our organization runs smoothly and sharing these updates with you, even if they're not as glamorous as the programming you look forward to!
